His wife Sawako (played by Hana Kuroki) tells her husband Toshio (played by Yu Emoto), a cartoonist who is having an affair, that she wants to draw a manga with the theme of an affair, and in her newly drawn manga, there is a couple who are very similar to the two and a fairly real affair plot. Toshio fears that his actions have been exposed, but the plot of the manga unfolds as a love affair between his wife and a driving school instructor. Toshio, who is dominated by fear and jealousy, also finds that manga and reality are beginning to become mixed and intertwined.
